This week, Skye Learning is spotlighting Kemi Arosanyin, the Director of the Africa Trade Expansion Program at the World Trade Center Miami. Arosanyin has a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of International Business. She has a strong background in trade finance and international marketing. She also writes, speaks, and advises on international trade issues, with publications including “Miami: Africa’s Gateway to the Americas” and “U.S.-Africa Trade Relations Under Trump” in Global Trade Magazine.

This week, Skye Learning is once again featuring Keisha O’Marde, Head of Human Resources at Symmons Industries. O’Marde has earned her SHRM-CP® and PHR™ certifications and has an M.A. in workforce development and training. She has also worked domestically and internationally for organizations ranging from small start-ups to mature and global companies.

Skye is thrilled to include O’Marde in our HR Hot Topics courses, developed in partnership with HRCI. These courses cover a range of buzzworthy HR topics, such as employee well-being, marijuana policies, and diversity and inclusion.

This week, Skye Learning is spotlighting Dr. Jonathan Jefferson, the Chief Academic Officer and Provost at Lesley University. Skye was thrilled to include Dr. Jefferson’s expert commentary in Introduction to Leadership, a course within the Certificate in Leadership.

Formerly, Dr. Jefferson was Chair of Lesley’s Business Management Division and a professor of management. He was Managing Director of Jefferson Consulting Group for almost eight years, where he managed a portfolio of $200 million and over 130 projects. He was also formerly Director of the United States Coast Guard Academy’s Institute for Leadership. He also served as Dean of Albany State University’s College of Business and Dean of Clark Atlanta University, among other former positions.

Franky Descoteaux is a speaker, business coach, podcast host, video producer, and consultant for startup, growth, and crisis-stage businesses and nonprofits. She has launched four businesses and two nonprofit programs, coached a number of entrepreneurs, and managed several crisis turnarounds. Skye Learning was thrilled to feature Descoteaux in Introduction to Small Business Management, a course in Skye’s Certificate in Small Business Management.

This week, Skye Learning is spotlighting Brock Allen, a strategic marketing and business development consultant with over twenty years of experience in Vice President of Marketing roles. Skye was thrilled to include Allen’s expert commentary in Mobile Marketing, a course within Skye’s online Certificate in Digital Marketing.

As a consultant, Allen has architected viral campaigns, generated substantial qualified leads, and helped clients drive huge acquisitions. He has also served as a digital marketing expert for Boston Online Marketing. Previously, Allen worked at Blue Sky Technology Partners, QSI, and AWI.

Jen Kramer is a front-end web development expert, author, speaker, and instructor. Kramer has designed over 40 video-based web design and development courses for various online learning platforms. Skye Learning was thrilled to include her video commentary in the Certificate in Web Design.

Kramer is a lecturer at Harvard University Extension School, where she teaches at least five courses per year. She was a 2018 recipient of the Shattuck Excellence in Teaching award. She also leads web design and development workshops and speaks at regional, national, and international events.

This week, Skye Learning is spotlighting Ann Gleason, an experienced human resources leader who is featured in Skye’s HR Management courseware.

Gleason is the Region Head of US & PR Benefits and Global Mobility at Iron Mountain in Boston, MA, where she has worked for nearly 22 years. In her career, she has specialized in benefits, compensation, relocation, employee relations, and recruiting. She has a B.S. in Merchandising & Marketing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

This week, Skye Learning is spotlighting Shelly Berman-Rubera, a business coach and strategist who is the founder and president of Small Business Results (SBR). She is a Certified Small Business Coach with a Master Certification in Business Management. Skye was thrilled to include her in Introduction to Small Business Management, a course in the Certificate in Small Business Management. 

For 20 years, Berman-Rubera was the small business owner of a lifestyle and fitness company called Professional Fitness by Shelly. For the past 16 years, she has focused on personalized, boutique-style business coaching. Berman-Rubera’s practice is founded on her “SBR Signature System,” including her 6 Steps to Small Business Results.

This week, Skye Learning is thrilled to feature Cynthia Holt, an experienced consultant and nonprofit manager with more than two decades of experience in management, coaching, strategic planning, grant research and writing, and more. She is a subject matter expert for several Skye courses, including Introduction to Nonprofit Management and Strategy for Nonprofits.

Andrea Davenport is Human Resource Director for Avedis Zildjian Company, a musical cymbal company and the oldest family-run business in America. Previously, she was Human Resource Manager for Dunkin’ Brands and Director of Human Resources for Ninety Nine Restaurants.

Skye Learning was thrilled to include Davenport in the PHR^® Exam Prep Course and in Introduction to Supervision. In addition to her professional background, Davenport has an MS in HR and has earned the PHR^® and SHRM-CP certifications.
